We contribute to the operation of 310 patient beds, 11 theatres, a 24 hour Emergency Department, an on-site medical team, a 10 bed Intensive Care Unit, a 10 bed Coronary Care Unit and a Day Procedure Unit. We contribute to the provision of a broad range of acute services, with over 25 speciality areas and Knox Private Hospital in collaboration with accredited private specialists is a leader in cardiac and general surgery, obstetrics, Acute and General Medicine, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, urology, plastics and vascular surgery. In 2010, Knox Private Hospital completed a large redevelopment including the addition of two new wards, an emergency department and a hybrid theatre with cath lab capabilities. Ever improving and growing to meet the needs of the larger community – Knox Private Hospital has more to come by the end of 2015.
